I contacted Birch Logs and asked them about getting some basswood slices I could use for my art work. They suggested these artist quality slices. They were exactly what I was looking for. I had bought basswood slices from other sources and ended up having to send about 50% of them back because they were filled with large knots and dark spots. These were perfect and no more hassle having to return things.
